Overview
Savr Recipes is a mobile application which offers recipes for at- home chefs. In this exercise, I spent 5 days developing a solution to satisfy the needs of the user. I followed the recommended methods provided by a modified Google Design Sprint

Problem
Savr Recipes struggles to offer clear and concise cooking instructions for at-home chefs. Users are complaining of :

Difficult to know if user is on the right track while cooking

Not fully prepared to cook meal, surprises occur

Lack of instructions for advanced cooking techniques
Goal
Improve the Savr Recipes experience for following new recipes and cooking at home. Offer clear instructions throughout the user experience
Day 1 - Discovery
Improving the user flow for a high quality cooking experience was vital to ensuring a simple and concise process to preparing a delicious meal
Day 2- Lightning Demos
Lightning Demos provided a quick study of competitor solutions for user experience and interface inspiration
SideChef - The video layout and recipe format offers a clear view of instructions for the user
Tasty - Step-by-step mode gives users the chance to follow easily. UI elements are clean and clutterless.
AllRecipes - Detailed cooking instructions ensure chefs stay on track. Video instruction feature is excellent for learning advanced cooking techniques
Day 2 - Crazy 8's
To challenge the solution and generate ideas, I sketched 8 unique frames within a minute. After careful evaluation, I decided to focus on the most critical screen that will improve the user experience, which is the video instruction screen

Day 3 - Storyboard
Sketching the storyboard prior to creating lo-fidelity wireframes
Day 4 - Wireframes
Preparing lo -fidelity wireframes for usability testing and validation

Cooking techniques are highlighted, so the chef is not surprised while cooking

A visual ingredient list to help with preparing before the meal

Clickable ingredients for information and videos of proper cooking techniques unique to the dish
